You want to write a book. It’s burning deep inside you. But you’re afraid.
Afraid of its power because you know that it has the potential to shatter paradigms and transform your business.
Your inner-perfectionist tells you that you can’t write. Meanwhile your saboteur makes up every excuse as to why you don’t have time, why now isn’t the ‘right’ time to write your book, and all the reasons why you should put it off for yet another year…
‘Who do you think you are writing a book? Who’s going to buy it? What will people think?’ screams that inner voice.
But your other voice – the one deep inside your soul – is getting louder. She wants to be heard; she has a powerful story to tell. And she knows that there are people waiting to hear it who need the transformation that your book will catalyse within them.
You feel vulnerable and exposed because the thought of sharing so personally activates your inner fear-freaks and you want to run away and hide. You’re just getting used to unveiling more of yourself on social media so the thought of baring your soul in print fills you with anxiety.
But the call isn’t going away.
The more you ignore it, the louder it gets. And it won’t stop until you listen!
You know deep inside that writing a book is part of your legacy.
You realise that a book will amplify your voice and help your message reach the masses.
When you’re honest with yourself, you know that you’ve been playing it safe and want to scale your impact.
You know that it’s time.
Writing and publishing a book is not only a powerful way to share your message and make your work more accessible, but it’s also an incredible tool for your business.
When you hit best seller you instantly gain the credibility to attract clients, feature in the media, become a sought-after speaker and in doing so spread your transformational message even further.
You’ve just gotta write the dang book. And boy do we know all the excuses, procrastination and blocks that get in the way! Why? Because we’ve been there.
Hi, we’re Kara Grant (Yoga Practitioner, Award-Winning Coach and Best Selling Author) and Michelle Catanach (Author, Creative Coach, Self-publishing Expert and compiler of Amazon #1 Best Sellers Uncaged: The Rise of the Badass and Boys Do Cry). And we’re here to help you write your book and birth into the world.
We both know the fear that comes up in being more visible and in writing, and most importantly the vulnerability and the doubt. We’ve experienced the resistance – internally and externally – when sharing a message that challenges the status quo.
We’ve experienced the trolls, the keyboard warriors and sometimes criticism from loved ones as we’ve stepped into authentic leadership and used our voices for the greater good (and yes, it sure is uncomfortable).
Being a leader isn’t easy.
It can feel like an inner battle between our own soul and ego because both fight to be heard. But we’ve reached a pivotal moment in humanity. More of us are being called to step up. And if you’re still reading this, you’ve been called too.
You have gifts, and stories that need to be shared. And now is the time.

I can't afford it.
We have deliberately kept the prices as low as possible so it is as accessible as possible. There are many retreats out there that are a lot more expensive. The support and experience you will have on this retreat will be incredible. However if money is a barrier please speak to us as there are a couple of supported spaces available for people where you can attend at a lower rate and help out during the retreat in exchange. You can use the links below to book in for an informal chat with Kara or Michelle.
